In accordance with the instrutions of the Governer of Northern Province,the association with Samurdhi Community level organizations within the division of Valieast Divisional Secretariat on 01.07.2019 which was the last day of drug eradication weekend ( June 23 - July 01) the awareness walk and balloon release and awareness drama were took place on the theme of ''A nation free from drugs and smoking will strengthen our mind" (Led by semmukam- Neervely West councelling committee).In the programme, Divisional Secretary, Staff Officers, Divisional secretariat officers, Samurdhi Managers, Medical officer of Health, Public Hygene Inspector, Midwife, Head of the Excise Department, Divisional Education Officer, Schools Principals, Business men, Samurdhi community level organizations and Public were participated.
A special mobile service was held to register children's past birth on 25.06.2019 Tuesday, at Registrar Branch of Divisional Secretariat with the help of Child Rights Promoting Officer(CRPO) headed by Divisional Secretary, in front of Assistant Registrar General Mr.K.NANARAJAH ( Jaffna District Secretariat) Birth Certificates of 18 children were issued.
The events of monthly Religious promoting Programme at Sirupitty Annamar Araneri school and issuing certificates for the winners of National creativity competition were held on 21.06.2019 Friday evening.
The literary competition, Poetry and hand writing competition at Divisional level were conducted at conference hall of Divisional Secretariat on 25.06.2019 Tuesday at 9 A.M.
The wall art was drawn at Jaffna Athchchuvelly Central College regarding children's protection to benefit the students was inaugurated on 2019.06.20 Tuesday.
